Whether you are looking to furnish a wet or dry bar in your home or a bar at a public establishment, bar furniture is one of the most important factors to consider when designing your interior. Aside from the permanent fixtures and color scheme of your bar area, the furniture you choose will directly impact the mood of your environment. Today, most bars fall into one of two major categories: modern contemporary bars, which tend to be innovative and/or minimalistic in design, or traditional.
Modern bar furniture leans toward feeling more industrial. Take note of the minimum and maximum seat height measurements for any adjustable height stool. If you are buying a fixed height stool, it will fall into the counter height or bar height category. Even so, check your desired seat height with the actual seat height of any stool you are interested in before purchasing.
